Yz250f Fork rebuilding
Hey guys, I am not sure who was doing it (greg?) but I need some help with a rebuild. I did a set of crf forks and didn't have this issue, so here goes.
The yz blew the fork seals. Upon removal and disassembly, I noticed that the compression rod was not rebounding completely (-3/4"). I tried to check the compression damping and it seems like it does nothing. I cranked the damping full stiff and there appears to be no change. Is it possible that the speed at which I am compressing the cartridge is not enough to move the shim stack, or is there so much air in the cartridge that it isn't damping? Help would be great, and right now I am waiting on tooling.
