Yes I know, but another carb question

Ok, i'm putting a 05 R1 tail on my bike(i'll have pictures up in a little bit) so i can have my undertail exhaust. I didn't change my mufflers, but i did make new mid pipes and they are longer. Now my question is, do you guys think that i will have to re-jet the carbs? Now my guess is that i wouldn't think so because i did'nt change my mufflers but i could be wrong hence why i'm asking.

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
Well making the exhaust longer does change things. If it is enough to warrent a re-jet is a good question to which I don't have an answer, so you will just have to run it and see.

Why aren't you using R1 mufflers? Next step?

I'm using my D&D mufflers that i already had for the SH. I figured that R1 mufflers would create the wrong back pressure for the superhawk.

How are they going to fit? Aren't they WAY too long?

They work just fine. If you look at mario nava's bike, the D&D pipes are just a little bit longer than the ones he has on.
