Whar size is the socket to remove clutch basket?

I think it is about 30mm, thanks.

Anybody know? Have parts in hand for the job except for the outer cover that says Honda on it if any one has one. Thanks

Again be wary of the microfiche. It's been a few years but if I remember correctly the size on the microfiche was wrong.

The fiche is correct, but is referring to the thread size, ...not the OD or tool size needed.

Yes it is a 30 mm

had a hard time finding a 30mm 12 point but that is what it took. BTW you do not need a holding tool to torque the nut. Just put it in gear and slide a 2x2 piece of wood under the swing arm thru the wheel and under the swing arm on the other side. The bike is not going anywhere and you can make the 94 ft/lbs of torque.

Most likely has reverse threads. Easiest was to do this job is with an impact.

+1, no impact needed if you don't have one.
