Spark Plug Cross-reference

I read through other spark plug posts, but didn't see an answer to a question like mine so here goes. I recently replaced my NGK plugs in my car with Bosch platinum 2 dual electrode spark plugs. It really woke the car up and improved my mileage. I'd like to try the Bosch platinum 2's in the superhawk but don't think Bosch makes a compatible plug since I can't find a cross reference. I've tried clubplug.net and all the usual suspects but can't find a cross reference other then the existing NGK DPREIX-9 or the Brisk BOR12LGS. Any one got any ideas (other than Splitfire which I think is a real dissapointment?)

I've not yet heard of a plug that works better than the stock one. If you find something let us know. There has only been one other reference to the Brisk plugs but only to speculate as to their performance. No feedback at all.

I vote you be the guinea pig on this one.

Spark Plug Cross-Reference

I sent an e-mail to the Bosch U.S. offices to see if they sell a Platinum dual electrode plug that'll fit a superhawk. If not, I may try the Brisk plugs, although they seem kinda pricey. If that doesn't work, I'll try the old Harley Rider trick -spend too much on parts then drinkin' enough beer until the bike feels like it's performing better

The brisk plugs are a little more expensive. If you buy plugs at your Honda dealer they will charge you like $12 each though, so in comparison it's not that much more. You have to put it all in perpective, see....

Erion Racing built a sup hawk for ama superbike back in 97. I asked craig about plugs, and the irridium denso, or ngk is the plug to use. Marc Salvisburg of factory pro rec. them also. They were origionally designed for use in f1 car racing, so if they ignite af at that kind of speeds and cylinder pressures, should work anywhere. The only way the bosch would be better if you are jetted way rich. They act sorta like a deisel glow plug because of the large ground straps.
