Rear turn signal(s) not working
Hey guys, So i have an 04, i noticed my rear right turn signal didn't work, so i took the cover off to check removed the bulb, swapped it with the working one, only to find that now both don't work. The black resistor (forgive my ignorance - black thing on right side of rear frame) "clicks" when the directional are engaged. I have purchased OEM replacement bulbs which i will pick up tonight and try, hoping that's the issue. I have also purchased brand new replacement turn signals as a last resort.
Anything else i'm totally missing?
Also, little surprised to see all electrical loom is simply covered in electrical tape, no heat shrink, seems a little crude.....maybe just old school.
cheers, in advance.

If you don't have a volt-ohm meter (aka VOM) already it's a tool that pays for itself quickly diagnosing electrical problems. Very inexpensive to acquire online, sears, any auto parts store, harbor freight etc.
Your experience doesn't make much sense, but a VOM would help you sort out what's happening pretty quickly. The entire Honda Service manual is posted here in the Knowledgebase section with the wiring diagram.

OK, tried the new bulbs, & no dice. So i wired up the directionals i purchased and bingo. So, i assume something must have gone somewhere in the old directionals.
Side note; it was so nice to ride this thing for the 1st time! especially after seeing it sitting in my garage all winter long. Loving this bike!!
