If you change the filter and drain it good, put 4 quarts in it and call it good. For future reference, if you use the search function of the forum there are many topics like this one covered over and over again. Dont be afraid to ask if you don't find what you are looking for. Someone on here knows the answer!

You better post some pics of your SH, or people will get upset......

Welcome!!!!

Hey Guys, be nice and easy with new Forum member. Welcome to the mad mods Honda Superhawk Forum. Did you got your S-hawk a new pair of tires? I think Maxxis is the best.

Just to throw in my 2 cents, I would recommend pure synthetic oil. it is worlds better. My last bike had 96,000+ miles on it including getting my race license & my first couple race wknds, then LOTS of year-round street miles. No issues with clutch slip ( this is the only argument I evet hear against synthetic oil ). I haven't heard any such stories from mineral oil users (not that it couldn't happen)

I highly recommend Amsoil. I've been running this in my 08 YZ250f dirtbike and I ride this machine hard. Very high quality stuff !

3.9 liters if changing the oil & filter. like someone else said, you should download the manual, it's very helpful.
