Radiator Fans

I happen to be riding over the weekend and decided to look down into the fairings, and to my surprize I noticed there was only 1 cooling fan on 1 radiator. My question is... Is there suppose to be only 1 fan or should there be a fan on each radiator?

can anyone recomend an upgrade? is there any advantage to fitting a small fan on the other radiator? basicaly make the bike run cooler a bit.

When you are moving the fan is actually a hindrance since it slows air down across the one radiator. In fact for track bikes some people remove the fan since they generally do not end up idling or in stop and go traffic very often. So unless most of your time riding is stopped, keeping the one fan is probably best.

I took my bike down to florida last week, with high high temps down there my temp gauge never went past half way even idling, the fan would kick on. and now back up north here in NH with 90*+ temps this week the fan works just as well. plenty efficient IMHO
