Question about manual cct's

I was just wondering how you adjust the manual (APE) cct's and at how many miles of normal street riding.

AFAIK, it has a locknut to bitch it up tight; loosen locknut, turn in, tighter, turn out, looser. Most people report long intervals need no adjustment (like 6 to 8 thousand miles). If I'm wrong please feel free to flame me, y'all...

I guess I have checked mine an average of once a year since I put them on. Don't think they have ever really needed adjustment.

That's correct. finger tight then back off about 1/4 turn and tighten up the lock nut. I had mine installed back in June and haven't touched them since. Probably about 6 thousand miles now and I'll probably adjust them over the winter.
