that will be cool to see, can't wait for the picture. Did you ever check wth JMC? or other option such as just modifying the axle holders? I am trying to find a way to use a rear RC51 wheel safely without some jerry-rigged solution. I don't feel like 'reinventing the wheel though.

Also had a custom shock mount made so I can keep my superhawk shock (ohlins). So now it's a bolt on part. I don't have pics yet but I promise to post 'em as soon as I can get this thing back together. This is ******* sickness and it's an expensive one too.

I'll try and take some pics of it over the weekend. I did look over JMC's website in the past. Their stuff is awesome but at least in the looks department didn't seem worth paying so much for-I instead did the 900rr brace and polished it myself for way cheaper. Think for the same price as the jmc the modded sp2 swingarm is cooler-just my 2 cents. But when you start putting titanium kickstands on your superhawk you know you've got a friggin problem...

Honestly for those guys that don't want to dump a grand on a swingarm, the 900rr brace is a really cool looking option for MUCH cheaper. You can use a 1st or 2nd gen 900rr swingarm. They're cheap on ebay, I think I paid $15 plus shipping, rainbow glitter finish was free Just cut off the brace, do a little massaging with a grinder or dremel to fit as tight as possible to the superhawk swingarm, and weld/have it welded. Paint/powdercoat/polish. Originally did budget wheels too-I did the rc51 front end swap-used an sp1 6 spoke on the front and a 900rr 6 spoke on the rear-they match perfect. But have since found a nice used set of magnesium marchesinis to go with the swingarm. I drive a 90 ford taurus by the way...

Hey guys.... just took some measurements, figured I'd share...

VFR swingarm 520mm
VTR swingarm 485mm (Wheel very far forward in adjustments)

I know there are some subtle differeences in the VFR swingers (supposivly) that could lead to my dimension being about an inch smaller than Alan's... could also be that it looks like my rear eccentric is dialed in pretty far forward as well.

Just figured I'd throw out what I have if it helps.

I can't say this with 100% certainty but I believe that VFR arms also have different WIDTHS betwen years/models.

I say/suspect this because I have what i'm told is an '02 800 arm which I might install on my Firestorm. I also have a '92 CBR600F2. There's a few people out there running a VFR arm on their F2, but after checking both the VFR and CBR arms there's about a INCH of difference in width (VFR is wider). None of the CBR swaped owner lists anything about this other than stating using different bearings (15 versus 17 mm - which personally tells me nothing, I might add).

Haven't any VFR riders made some kind of chart yet that lists widths and lengths between the years/models?!?!?!?!? Would make a supreme reference chart for ..... everyone else!

Just putting it out there.
