Noob needs help w/ Tach Light

Hey guys I'm new to the forum & a 1st time SH owner. Rode her for the first time at night yesterday & noticed my tach seemed quite dim. Any ideas? I appreciated any and all knowledge. Gracias

Most likely blown bulbs behind it. There are 3 bolts holing the dash in. (10mm). Remove those and be careful not to loose the rubber grommets that are with them.

You can tilt the dash forward to see where the bulbs are. You can also replace them with leds from places like superbrightleds.com.

Those bulbs can be found at most auto parts stores, btw.

Get some T10 (5) LED bulbs on eBay, less than 5 bucks for a few with free shipping. Remove the cluster like Joe said, then on the back towards the top center of the tach there are 2 small wires running into a metal grommet. Carefully remove the grommet and replace the bulb with the LED and you're set

Oh yeah autoparts stores have em.

AND the 3 dash bolts have a rubber AND metal grommet so dont lose either cuz if you drop it, it seems to have no choice but to fall into the motor and NOT come out. Every time. Murpy's law.
