Jardine RT1 Carbon High Mounts

I just installed my new Jardine RTI High Mount Carbon pipes. The bike has been sitting for awhile as I been working on it. I started it for the first time and it is smoking out of the left side pipe. Is this normal as the exhaust breaks in? Now there is for sure exhaust coming out of the right side, but seems like the right side is warm and the left side is hot.

Any thoughts or help would be great.

Thank you,
Sean

If you want to equalize the flow from the two grind out the restriction from the right side header. Pull the right can and mid off and shine a flashlight down there. You'll see what I'm referring to.

Erm, normal for Jardines? I dunno. Don't have 'em. Jardine owners, speak up.

Well, it's obvious, isn't it? The bike won't drift to the right anymore. It'll track straight and true with both exhaust equal.

I don't know if its normal or not, but I have the jardines and get the same smoke out of the left pipe. Seems to happen more when it's cold out. Goes away after the bike has been running though. I wasn't concerned....till now...

I say run it for 500 miles or so and see what happens. Is there a help line for jardine? Check out there website and see what they have to say. I would assume the your burnnig off some kind of oil/lube in the pipe.

They have stop smoking, I think they had some stuff to burn off when I first started the bike. Man do these things sound awesome! A-Z Power Sellers is the place to get these awesome looking pipes. Jardine RT1 Carbon Fiber High Mounts for $560 shipped! Now that is a deal. The hawk is almost done.

Here are my mods this far:
Jardine Pipes
Dyno Jet Kit
K&N Filter
Competition Werks Fender Elimantor
Tail Light Intergrator
New Michlien Pilot Road
High-Gloss Black Rims
Race Tech fork springs
Race Tech gold vavles

All that is left is the paint for the Shark Skinz lower and install my Tapeworks kit. All in all this thing is runing **** and is a wheelie monster.

Naaah,
That WAS a closeout deal, and when I called a month they had none left (and couldn't get any more). I had won a set on Ebay the day I called...but they sold the last set 45min earlier (they voided the auction, boy was I PISSED). I'm glad a lister got them. I bought black rounds (from StarCycle a day later) just before A-Z's price went down. My Black ones haven't smoked at all.

Yeaa, I agree. I have a right side only exhaust and my bike pulls sooooo hard to the right. It's like sooooo frekin bad. I was all like, riding to the mall the other day,... and I went to put my right foot on the peg, and the peg was gone!! Guess I scraped it all down with that single sided exhaust and stuff.
