Highbeam and kickstand light.

I bought my Hawk used and ever since I had it the highbeam and kickstand lights dont work. I mean the highbeam lights one thing but the S light yeah kinda kicks me in the *** since I forgot it down a few times. Anyone know if its a bulb thing and can be replaced, or am I missing something.

Is it the bulb itself that is out, or is the kickstand switch somehow loose/disconnected?

I'd check the switch near the kickstand first, before pulling the gauge cluster apart.

Probably the cluster light, if the kickstand switch was disconnected, I don't think it would run...as far as my head thinks....

That's something I had considered, but my kickstand sensor was disconnected once and I could still start the bike up with no difficulty. I didn't know it was loose until a friend riding behind pointed it out.

Where is the kickstand switch? How do you change bulbs in the dash?

The kickstand switch I'm referring to is next to the kickstand, on the other side ("behind" it).

The stand switch is a tricky sucka. I removed mine, and in order to have the bike run I had to bridge the circuit ie: if you simply disconnect the plug the bike won't run.

On my bike the plug is in the main loom above the battery box. It is the green plug with 3 wires in it.

Hope this helps.

I have an o4, but have never seen this light. Was this on earlier models or am I missing something?
