GSXR 5/8 Master Cylinder Retrofit

So i decided to put the gixxer M/C on after the 6 pot tok. calipers used the original hawk lever. Had to dremel some off the handle around the brake switch otherwise fits fine.
The lever is super firm now and i guess ill get used to it. But i was gonna drill and tap the
M/C to accept my stock hawk Resivoir (gixxer one looks stupid and is way to big )
any one have ideas where to mount this b4 i start drilling and tapping . See attached pics

On a Side note im PISSED!!!!!!! i nicked my f'in tank while doing this dropped wrench on the tank...PHack!

Oh well any tips tricks other ideas appriciated Thanks

Ack! Sorry about the tank.

I've a different setup, but here's what I did. The pivot pin for the lever is hollow on my Brembo. I bent up a piece of aluminum and drilled a hole in each end. I tapped the pivot hole a used a really small screw to attach the alum to the MC. The alum piece looks too tall in the photo, but the reservoir is much smaller than the stock Hawk's.

The clamp is gone now. The spring clamp I originally was using fired off the end of my pliers (found it outside under my truck a few days later). That clear hose came with the MC. After about three days, it started sweating brake fluid on the outside. I've replaced that as well. Moral: what's worth doin', is worth doin' twice.

My dad had the same motto and boy did he prove it.

P.S. I'm ignoring that Ford comment
