Emulsion tube mix up

Does anyone know how to tell which emulsion tube goes where? Also, I heard the needles are different, too. If that's true, anyone know how to tell which one goes where on those?

Thumper is an unknown quantity at this point
I am aby-normal on this topic as i run the same emulsion tube in both front and rear with great success around surging. There was a topic on this years ago on another forum where some guys tested changing this. I would have to check my notes, but a seem to recall i have the rear style emulsion tube in front and rear carbs.

Running a rear emulsion tube in the front is the Factory Pro way of dealing with the issue. Personally I prefer, and have seen, better results by using the HRC method of plugging a lift hole in the front slide.

Though that is just me.
