dead fuel pump, bent valves?
ok so heres where im at. i tried starting the bike today, and wow it actually started. however i had the adjusters loose and the cam chain noise freaked me out so i killed the engine. i then started it again after calming down and tried to adjust the chain, but it died before i could do it. i tried restarting it......i killed the battery. so i took it back inside to check timing, all was spot on cept the front intake was a tooth "late" in the chain. did i just bomb the front cylinder? i fixed it went back outside checked for spark, BAM have it. but i didnt smell any fuel....stick my finger in the spark plug wells....no fuel. i check the plug where the pump goes and i have about 11v with just the ignition on. i check the contacts on the underside of the pump 0.0v. i also turned the petcock both ways to make sure i actually turned it back on. the 2 big lines are in the right spots and the little line from the carbs to the tank is there. am i missing anything?

Well there is no fuel pump, that is the fuel light or gas gauge wiring......
Having the cam one tooth off shouldn't have hurt anything. As for no fuel, make sure it is flowing out of the petcock and also open the bleed screw on the bottom of the float bowl to make sure the carbs are getting fuel and then go from there.
