Cooling fan motor?

Cooling fan motor?
Got stuck in traffic yesterday. Temp gauge went to red. Fan never came on.
Tonight I checked the fuse, visually OK but replaced anyway.
Pulled ground wire off radiator temp sensor and shorted to chassis (ignition on). No go.
Removed fairing inner cover and found the fan motor wire connector disconnected. Hmm. Reconnected connector, ignition on, grounded sensor wire... No go.
Disconnected fan connecter. Volt meter to battery side yields battery voltage. Ohm meter to fan motor side yields infinite resistance.
Have I diagnosed a failed motor?

I got one left over from my going naked project.
It may not be a perfect fit in terms of harness, but should fit into the bracket physically.
I looked up the price for a new one, extremely expensive is an under statement.
Make me an offer I can't refuse and I'll ship it to you.
