Carb float replacement

Hello again,

What do you all think about replacing floats (not float valves) in pairs? As per my last message, I chipped the valve seat when taking one of my floats out. Both floats are heavily discolored, but have no other signs of problems. This bike under a thousand miles on it, and it's an '03. But it has done a huge amount of sitting without being run or stabilized for storage (before it was mine).

My thinking is that the only benefit of replacing the non-broken float would be to feel good about the fact that I didn't take a chance.

Opinions?

Thanks,
Avram

Only reason to replace them is if they no longer function. Otherwise you're just throwing money into the wind.
