bearing sizes
ok so the motor is all apart and everything seems to be extremely clean... would it be ok to just swap the main and rod bearings with the same size as old bearings are? both the old bearings and crank are absolutely perfect looking and i had 0 problems before. the only reason im even doing a rebuild at all is i had an oil leak behind the front sprocket and didnt want to grind the lip off the seal. i dont want to screw up math and clearance numbers if i can get away with an easy swap of the same sized bearings...also where can i get a set of good oversized pistons?

It would be best of you measured and confirmed/ But if you do not have the proper tools, or time, or??? then, replace them with new, like sized units. If the bearings are in need of replacement due to wear (I get it, your replacing them just because your in there anyway) then the crank journals probable need some attention as well.

i could plastiguage it but every time i use those i feel theyre off i know a guy that has a machine shop and hes gonna bore it over for me i guess ill have him measure it out the right way.... theres no real point to cut any corners at this point...

Yep, use the color code for new bearing sizes and plastigauge is what the manual recommends...
OEM OS Pistons are about $84 each:

A set of JE OS High Comp slugs can be ordered here and will run you around $300:

oops forgot to say you'll have to order a set of 4 from JE and just sell the other 2 here...
