Assistance in San Diego?
I'm hearing a noise and have stopped riding 
in order to avoid making a potential problem worse. Thread here:

Helpful forum members have suggested that could be a loose lifter, a valve clearance issue, piston skirts rocking in the bore, and a few other things including normal valvetrain noise.
It would be great to meet up with someone local so I could listen to your bike and see if I hear the same thing, and to get your opinion on my bike. Any takers?
