APE rear cct oil leak

My rear APE cct leaks oil at the adjuster bolt threads. I read a thread from 2007 from Hawkrider about a fix and I was hoping to get some more info on how to do it. I am going for 9 days in the Alps in Sept. and don`t want to have oil all over on the trip. Any help will be appreciated. Mark

What stopped mine from seeping was to clean it well and oil free, then use wicking type thread lock.. For me that was loctite brand #290

Do what's necessary, so you can back the bolt out out about 1/4"-3/8". Then apply some thread sealant to the threads. Then all you have to do is screw the bolt back in. Adjust as necessary.

Edit: E. Marquez got back to ya while I was writing mine.

Does it leak that much that you dont want to ride 9 days with it like that? It should leak, but only a drop or two a day. I backed my out, wrapped it with teflon tape (plumbers tape) and put it back in, no leaks since.
