Frank Thomas Leather
Just got the STRIKE series jacket from www.cyclegear.com for $269 and LOVE IT!!!! nice fit.. a bit stiff at first... but breaks in pretty quick. VERY supportive for our riding postures of the SH... I have noticed a BIG improvement in maintaining a good riding position for a much longer period of time...
Next are the lowers... $179
on sale for 90 days from 21 Sep 05
Here is the full set.....yeah.. I got THIS EXACT colors...

Re: Frank Thomas Leather
Thats a good price. The 1 piece suits are only $399.00. I read a test article about leathers on R1forums.com and Frank Thomas finished at the top of the list.
I never heard of them before.
Here is a link to the article, scroll down the page till it starts.

Frank Thomas is a European Co... ( read zipper ont he wrong side ) The one peice is nice.. but not feasable for my use on a daily basis... sometimes I just need the jacket... for the COLD 4am 70 mile commute... the lowers will come in handy

Yes, a 1 piece offers good protection but impractical for everyday street use. I have a nice Fieldsheer leather jacket and will be buying leather pants to go with it for the convenience of seperate pieces.

Frank Thomas is terrific gear for the price. And, they're made in Pakistan so in a backhanded way you're helping out in the war against terror.
I had a two-piece set (zip-uppable to become one) when I had my Ducati and I did the whole deal with the sewn on Agip/Michelin/Ducati Corse/etc etc patches. Very Guido.
But, then, I bought the Duke and its seat is so high and the leathers were so restricting, that I literally could not dismount until I put down the stand first and stood on the pegs and then got off like dismounting from a horse.
I got tired of being laughed at by my crew, so I ditched the leathers and I now have a two-piece Cortech HRX leather/ballistic/armor combo that fits awesome, comes with two separate liners (water and warmth) and if you take the liners out your street clothes fit underneath. Perfect!
