I just bought one of these jackets and don't get it for another few days. Is anyone currently sporting one of these? If so How do you like it?

 

I got the great, great granddad of these jackets about 25 years ago. It was called the Hein Geriecke Concord back then. I wore it for nearly 15 years until I, err, outgrew it or I might still be using it today. Disclaimer: OK down here I don't wear heavy leather for over 1/2 the year but it had been used twice and was still holding up when I retired it, rash and all.

Better advances in armor and design should leave you quite satisfied with the Scout. Heavy snaps, huge YKK zippers, thick supple leather, etc. your basic high quality item.
