it's all about less weight & coolness. Metzler on DeerSHawker is almost shot so I'm looking for that 400 rear tire conversion kit I saw in a nightmare once. Just get off the thing and it sits there. Fill tire with helium to make up for all that heavy rubber. Counting on you guys to help me figure which swingarm from Big Bear Choppers is a bolt on. Anyone ever park their Hawk in endo position? You'd have to leave that heavy fork lock on then I guess. AH 2 B YUNG

I like the hat thing Condor - it's hilarious. The Robert Stack theme pic' is fresh. I can see him now, narrating: "Who are these kids who lye their bikes down like this? Is there some unforeseen coolness in doing such things - beyond the weight savings of ~1.5 something pounds?"

These have to be the same kind of guys I ran in to not too long ago. I was coming back into town (Houston, Westheimer and 610) from a road trip and saw a huge group of bikes parked at a James Coney Island. Now granted I was on a Suzuki Bandit 1200S (a standard if you will) so I knew I wasnt going to exactly "fit in" without some shorts a tank top and some flip flops but I figured there should at least be a few guys that knew of some good places to ride that were chocked full of some twisties somewhere in Houston (I was new to the area at the time). Well I got some leads, mostly up near Huntsville but then this huge group of guys told me they were going for a 'sweet run' and that I should come. So I follow, and I follow, and I follow and before it hits me how "sweet this ride is" we've done a loop around 610. That was it. One loop, everyone riding like retards, swerving through traffic, around 610. I couldnt stop shaking my head as I chose not to stop back at the James Coney Island on the way back.
PS there was one guy with a GSXR that layed his bike down on the sliders, I opted not to talk to him seeing as his rear sprocket was the size of his tire.

I have been looking for them, but they have been nowhere to be seen. I am going to be getting married on Saturday, and then im going ot be out of the country for a few weeks....then i will be back, working hard to get a picture of them
