not quite so pissed off now.
I took off Wednesday to get the wife's car fixed (siezed a waterpump)
Around 1:00 car was at a garage and it was a beautiful day so I decided to go for a ride.
Put on my new full leather suit and all my other gear and 45 minutes later I wrecked in a corner that was full of sand.
Let me say that the suit was a great choice and if I had not been wearing it I might now not have any knee caps.
Also the frame silder did a great job of protecting the frame. Damage was all on the right side, the fairing, motor case, mirror, destroyed foot peg and brake pedal, snapped off the brake lever, bar end, turn signal, and the exhaust can.
Now the insurance gets to fix it, and I will get new riding gear

Sorry to hear that man
That sux big time; we have pine needles that are like ice to ride on around here. I hope the insurance does cover the gear, I have progressive and they cover it up to $1000 for me.

There's not as much contruction around here as there used to be. A clean rode at 8am would be trashed by 1030. Swept by the contractor at lunch and trashed again by 1700. You could not trust it unless you could see it.
ATGATT - because you never know.
