CHP with time on thier hands....
Here is a new one on me…….
Awesome day for a nice spin through the local back country in San Diego this morning. Ton of cops / CHP, so took it pretty easy all day. (later to find out, they are looking for “Mongrels” that may be causing havoc at the local casinos)
Long story short, get pulled over for....get this..... rear turn signals not 9" apart. Granted just a fix it ticket, but none the less, what a pain in the %*&......
I genuinely respect cops and the job they do, but this kinda crap & nonsense just takes the cake.
Civil Servant, my ***....
gun + badge + hot weather + boredom = Cop that may be better off securing the local mall…..
Okay done!

They were all over Ortega as well. Sportbike riders coming down were all giving the thumbs down sign or tapping their helmets; at least that gives riders going up a heads-up. Saw 4 CHP cruisers and 1 airplane.

my old man was in vegas during that big Mongols vs. HA deal back in 2002, one of the mongols had to sell his ride (58' duo-glide) for bail money so old man bought it cheap.

haven't had a bike for a few years and have only had the SH for 2 months or so. So I hafta ask what maybe a stupid question are the above actions a signal that there are cops up ahead doing traffic patrol

9 inches apart is not very far apart.I've seen some of those integrated blinkers in the brake light things. To me it just looks like the brake light is blinking. All that stuf on my bike is stock.I hardly ever use my turn signals. But the less cops I talk to the better off I am.Im sure he was looking for license and insurance.
