One of my builds to be in the IMS Seattle
Hey its been a while since I have started any threads but I was too excited not to pass on the news.
The bike I built for my sister was selected as one of 40 custom motorcycles to be displayed at the international motorcycle show in Seattle this weekend. The selected bikes are picked because they are local and display unique and creative design elements. Needless to say it is an honor and a privilege so this is my way of saying a little thank you to the guys at Soundrider for putting this on.
If any of you guys are going to the show maybe I will run into you.
You can get details and see a picture of my sister's bike on the front page of
Sound RIDER! - The Northwest's leading motorcycle resource. Washington, Oregon, Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Used bikes
Here is a picture of the bike.

Last weekend I had to pull the motor three times to replace the stator, once to put the new stator in, once to put the ignition sensors in the correct way, apparently left and right to honda is not when you are looking at the cover but when the cover is on the bike, and once because I missed the alignment teeth on the shifter. Arg... the next time if ever it will go a lot smoother. I chalk it up to the continual training regimen I am on.

My back is doing a lot better. For a while through the summer the most painful thing for me to do was ride. Bumps just killed me, by the end of the riding season here around October it was not as painful. Its been over a year, I keep thinking its as good as its going to get and then a month or two later I think back and notice that it is still getting better. Sometimes I think the accident has helped me focus my time and energy better, but for whatever reason it has affected my memory, I don't feel as sharp and clear as I used to. I didn't hit my head or anything so its a little weird. Maybe it was all the pain killers I was on I don't know. What I can say is wrenching on my superhawk to get it put back together became therapy for me both physically and mentally. Now I am doing all the same things I was doing before the crash so I would say I have recovered.
