Honda's Fury

When will honda follow Suzuki ( by this I mean they should put out some new v-twins and sport bikes) How many sportbike models vs cruisers does they have. Now look at the Suzuki site. At least they kept the smaller sizes too. No I'm not trading sides just pointing out the obvious.

I suppose as a form of corporate art, the exercise is commendable, but park it along side the other attempt at art, the Rune, and this seems somewhat lacking. Because there is a distinct lack of 'lust factor', no monetary vote from my wallet.

Well said. Nice of Honda to focus all their R&D and Marketing to develop new bikes for people who don't even ride! Thumbs down!

haha unfortunately all this bashing of these bikes is well deserved.
If i had my way they would only produce sport bikes(incredibly realistic)
But i mean, if they have to appeal to all riders they can do better than this. i mean
seriously.
but real quick. How big is this bike? ( cc's)

Why give a ****? The Japs (as well as Harley) build cruiser-custom-choppers 'cause people, especially in the U.S. buy them 2 or 3 to one over sport bikes.
Not everybody wants to ride around with their chin on the triple clamp and their *** way up in the air.
Some guys would rather ride around like a lady waiting for a gynecological exam. Ha! Ha!

The Europeans get the CB 1000 R. I saw one of those in Italy this summer... I can't believe there's more people here that would rather buy a cliche'd generic chopjobber Fury than a rompin' good naked sportbike. Apparently Honda differs. Oh well, at least I got a Superhawk while they were there.

just checked one out at my local dealer and got to sit on it. pretty nice bike if you ask. slim, long, raked. pretty comfy. would need some loud pipes and maybe chrome wheels. but thats about all it would need. its got me thinking if i want another cruiser.......

My problem with cruisers is they put you in a position similar to a recliner.
Thats a position I usually fall asleep in.
You cannot be in control of your destiny while reclining, in my opinion.
Ape hangers are supposed to counter this apparently, as such torture positions and control reduction tend to keep people wide awake.
(imagines ape hangers on superhawk) (which would put the rider in the-"praise the lord!" position)
So the next time you see the guy reclining in his recliner with his hands chained to the ceiling, dont make fun of him. He is trying to look cool.

I don't know about all that... I don't see too many people dying of a 'nap whilst riding'... I understand the appeal of cruisers. They're for CRUISING. Not carving the twisties or going fast, just being relaxed, with no sore wrists or asses, and just enjoying being on two wheels. Thats why I'm fixing up my old kz440. No speed needed. Just a comfy *** seat, relaxed riding position, and 75 miles to the gallon baby. I'd ride accross the country and back for no reason. Not that I wouldn't on my vtr...

From: Mother Earth- orbiting around Charlotte, NC. But now over the border in S.C.
I put one together at the shop. Must say, after an hour or two of looking at it, not bad.
Glad I own my SH and several other Honda bikes over the years, but I doubt I would purchase the Fury. Not my style, but like another said; "if it has two wheels and a motor I'm interested". Comfortable egros though.

the stupid furry is already out, i work at a dealership, it rides good for a cruiser but is really ugly and priced way 2 close to the yamaha raider which will eat its lunch, i d almost rather have dad s glodwing over a furry
