Why Ignition Advance?

I heard now that the FactoryPro ignition advance timing wheel is available a lot of people are getting them. But why? Is everyone having a pinging problem or something?

I installed my +4 last season and i have had no problems with mine. As far as power goes i would say it does not make alot of difference where it really shines is the throttle response crisper, snappier. I think alot of people think there bike is pinging when they take off but it is really the carb slides (it does sound like pre ignition thou).its one of the cheapest bang for your buck mods i can think of other than a jet kit.

The best bang for the buck is to go on a diet! It actually saves you money! The next best bang for the buck is to put the bike on a diet. That is most easily achieved by replacing the exhuast with something lighter. You gain horsepower and lose weight in the same mod. Can't ask for much better than that.
