rc 51 engine swap?

was thinking about this idea the other nite, if my motor were to pop rather than getting another one perhaps swapping in an rc 51 motor would be in favor. from the looks of things its fuel injected, i guess depending on the year, so that would mean wiring harness computer and cluster have to be swapped. those likely wouldnt be an issue. would i need to swap over the twist throttle aswell or will my linkage work? what about motor mounts and fitment? again its somethign thats floating around my head as a possible swap if its simple enough

you'd be better off swapping a varadero engine and by the time you've slept off the milwaukee's breast you'd just go out and buy an RC-51 SP2 if you 'really thought about it' .

motojoe is an unknown quantity at this point
If it was possible, there would be a write up.

Well... Since I out of curiosity alone measured up some stuff, I can tell you that it won't fit in the frame, you'd need to start with cutting up the frame and welding, and then go from there...

And if you did get it in there, the VTR frame is to weak for the stock engine if massaged a bit... So it will most certainly be to weak for the RC engine...

It would probably be easier to make a custom frame... Or just buy a RC to begin with...

But if you keep the stock engine, there is loads of fun stuff you can swap out around that.... I can give you a list...
