Passenger foot peg removal question.

I want to remove my passenger foot pegs (can't convince my wife to get on) but I need a spacer to compensate. If anyone knows anything about/has done let me know.
Here is a picture showing what I am talking about.

I was thinking I could just cut the bolts down.
and buy new ones I think it has the thread code on the head of the bolt I might call around and try to find some new ones.

Hahaha I'm gonna save this classy illustration! More explanations need to look like this!

As far as your actual question, I dunno. My bike doesn't even have spacers

Idk if the spacers came with the devil high mount exhaust system.
I pick it up for $800 off my buddy(the bike)

Buy shorter bolts, they're about $1 ea. at Home Depot and they have the handy dandy sizing chart there to figure out what you need. Obviously you'll want to subtract the length of the spacer.

Edit: The spacers did come with the exhaust.

No worries. I had to pick up new hardware for mine after I modded my exhaust and like a dumbshit threw the stock bolts away >. The spacers are so the passenger pegs can clear the exhaust mid-pipe.

You have two choices, buy new bolts (M8x1.25 if I recall correctly) and leave the spacers there. I think it would look funny.

Or slowly bend the hangers flush against the subframe using much shorter bolts. Better of the two options in my opinion.
