NO BAFFLES IN STOCK CANS

ok ive heard after taking out the baffles in the stock cans you have to rejet, ive heard you dont. i ride almost everyday and dont want to cut them out w.o having jets if i need them. also has any1 used the flo commader with no other mods other than cans? Is it worth buying if your bike isnt modded like crazy?

I didn't rejet after the bafflectomy and the bike ran fine. Have since switched to Jardines and still haven't rejetted. Might do some engine mods one day when I get around to it.

That's more a question on how you define "need to"... You don't really need to go pee after having a lot to drink either... But it damned sure feels better than holding it in forever...

When you take the baffles out of the stock pipes you most definetly changes the backpressure in that exhaust, and you are changing it by a very large degree... More than what most slip-on's do... Those are normally designed too increase the flow, but not so much that you absolutely need to re-jet... But doing a re-jet with any pair of slip-on's are definetly beneficial...

Not doing it with opened up stock pipes is really not a great idea... You will loose power and mileage, quite noticably...

The Flow Commander has nothing to do with other modifications... It's a tool to optimise jetting, and even on a completely stock, untouched bike it can be benficial... If you start fiddling with the exhaust, it can definetly help... But it's not a "cure all" device... It will never replace jetting, just complement it...
