MIG pipes? Staintunes? Devils?

Just wondering if anyones had or used these sets before. I have the Jardine black high rounds and they are a little overkill loud, had DDs ont he bike when I got it, Really like the look of the MIGS trying to find a set or maybe the Devils or Staintunes just looking for some comments and feedback on thsoe brands.

I had a set of low mount staintunes on my first VTR. Got the dealer to heavily discount a set and a couple of years later got the Jardines when they came out with the highmounts.

Yeah, the 'tunes are much quieter than the 'dines. Many of the Euro brands sell a street legal model that, like the staintunes, are much quieter than most US brands. I have a set of LeoVince on my VFR like that and love them.

I have the staintune high mounts and like them. Nice sound and the option of a removable baffle with just one set screw so you have two sound level options. If I can ever get a full exhaust system I may be selling the staintunes.

I have MIGs on one of the bikes and they're far quieter than the TBRs I had on the other bike. Sound much better than stock, but quiter than the TBRs, and a little bassy.

My MiGs are about half as loud as my friends Jardines and the hangers are about half as pretty to boot.

I've got Jardine RT-1 high mounts on mine, had a friend a few years back who had devil high mounts on his, if you want quieter than the Jardines don't go to devils. They look great but they are definately as loud or louder than the Jardines. Haven't tried the little plug that is suppose to quite the jardines.

Leo Vince does make a high mount system. They are really high and tight to the tail. I have them on my bike.

I'm thinking Leo Vince, low mount.
Do you have the Aluminum? I want to stay away from the polished look and go with a flat look inline with the frame. The website pics of Leo's look flat color, are they?

The aluminum leos are flat, not polished. My bike had a pair when I bought it.

I've got a set of carbon highmount Staintunes. Loud as hell. Any idea where I can buy a set of baffles?

They bolt on similar to the stock pipes at the header. They do come with the passenger peg spacers and rear turn signal relocation brackets. I got these off ebay, so I don't know what the previous owner had to buy on his own, so YMMV. See the attached pics.

Here's a shot of my carbon Leos. I notched my undertail, gave the hangers a slight bend inward, and pulled the hangers in together past the fairing. So they're tighter together than they'll come "stock" just fyi, but if you like the look its easy enough to do.

Yeah I really like the Leos but no one seems to have any but the Aluminum ones and Im not sure how I feel about that... Really prefere the rounds like my jardines but they are not too too high and I want higher and they sound iffy right so...

I think I want to go with the Leos because the price is there and they seem about the highest you can get....but the Devils are like the Migs small and round but expensive and hard to come by, just would be nice if someone made a full system...

Anyone got a good sound clip of the Leos? How do they sound compared to the Jardines?

I have a set of c/f MIG hi-mounts on mine and they sound sweeeeet. I don't know the decibel rating, but I wear ear plugs anyways. They are definitely hi-mounts. I have LED's for turn signals mounted on each side of the license plate because there is very little room between the pipes and the tailsection. Carbon fiber is a must or your butt is gonna get hot. Another benefit of the MIG is the retention of the rear pegs (if thats important to you).

Here is an old pic of my Ti high mount Leo's mounted on my bike. I cant show you a recent one as my bike is still in various states of "yeah I'll get to it". I had no rear signals to worry about, as I had an integrated LED tail light.

LOL yeah seaton I know all about various states of "I'll get to it." Too funny. Thanks blacksheep was waiting for someone to notice Arnold! Some of the funniest stuff is what you see in the background of peoples pics. I think I took a pic or two when someone asked awhile back but I've since deleted them. It's nothing crazy all I did was notch the black plastic stock undertail a little to allow the backs of the hangers to be bent inside of the tail fairing. My garage is a horror right now with two bike projects going at the same time and not much motivation or time lately...PM if you need and I'll get you a couple pics over the weekend.

Staintunes

I picked up a used set of Staintunes of Ebay for about $90. They have a few dents dings and scrapes. Although they sound way different , the Staintunes are slightly louder than the bafflecoctomy I had before on my stock exhaust, ,... more of an deep feel/sound. I highly recomend the Staintunes. 2 sound levels, and high quality= sweet.

I have the devils and love them. They are nice at idle and get loud the harder you twist the throttle.I also like that they don't get hot at all.I can't tell you how they compare to other SH exhaust as far as sound because I have never seen another one other then here.
