A new Galespeed RM 17.5 x 17 forged radial master along with a set of previously enjoyed 310mm Braketech CMC rotors

My plans are to mount up the MC next week (should work well with the Daytona 675 Nissin monoblock calipers I am running, 4x32mm pistons). The rotors wil have to wait a bit as they will require a new front wheel (are 2008 GSX-R1000 units) and some custom spacers and alternate bearings (nothing too complex, but after a winter of hibernation, I would like to ride instead of just wrenching; plus I am hoping to score a good deal at some point on a decent lightweight carbon or forged wheel). I truly can't wait to give these babies a go

I wasn't finished oogling over my new swinger brace and you post that. My envy is as green as a Brammo. Get that jewelery mounted and post some more pics so I can realize just how mediocre my Hawk really is.

Oh, ok, they look like the carbon brakes from motogp that did nothing unless heated up. Write up how they work.

Their website says they are not yet available. Where did you get your set of their rotors. Explain?

installed the Galespeed MC today (swapped over the titanium bleeder and banjo from the Brembo), and bled it. It's sitting with a tie-wrapped lever until tomorrow for the final "bleeding". I was unable to ride it today as I have my daughter so the test will come tomorrow..... Looking forward to it.

Just got in from my first ride with the new master and am very impressed with its operation. To begin with, I am happy with my choice in terms of piston size and leverage ratio (17.5 x 17). The lever pull is light(er) and responsive, with impressive power just a light squeeze away. The action is extremely smooth and progressive, definitely feels better than the OEM Nissins and Brembo that came before it. Granted it's very early on in the relationship, lol, but so far I am very happy with my new Galespeed master.

P.S. Can't wait to try the CMC rotors out (though that my be a few months from now)

So wait, what are you running? The new master and the stock calipers? Steel lines? I lost track.

Why wait for the rotors? And what calipers are you running eventually?

i beleive hes still gonna use his brembo monoblocks with the new rotors. the rotrs only mount to a gixxer wheel so he has to buy a wheel (hopefully a very very light one) and have custom made spacers to mount the wheel to his forks which he can then mount the rotors to...

Mik, can you post some updated pictures of your bike? IIRC your pics on your pages are very old....

calipers are Nissin monoblocks from a 2009 Triumph Daytona 675 (4 x 32mm pistons), rotors are Braketech Axis Cobra (stainless steel), lines are braided, pads are Zcoo, and now master is Galespeed.

Pics will follow....

bar-ends work fine and I can see as well, or better, than the OEMs (with extenders) as they stick out further...
