How to tune this Hawk?

So, I have been floating around this forum for a while now, and I am now starting to do some mods to this bike. Anyhow I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and our Elevation here is 668 meters/2192 feet above sea level. I am thinking about going with a Two Brothers Racing Exhaust for my Hawk and the Factory Pro Jet Kit. From what I have read Stock is 175/178, so what do I need to go up to, and what kind of tuning am I going to need to do to get this thing running nicely, needle guage? two turns out? dyno tune?

I have tried asking this in a couple threads, but it seems like once about 6 or 7 peple respond to a thread that is kind of the end of responses to an "old" thread. Anyhow thanks in advanced.

Tune this...

Hey Chasenyadown;

I will leave the more experienced (Greg..Hawkrider)to guide you in this..check the threads..in Tech and Knowledge base.. I wanted to say hello because we live near each other. I live near Kindersley Sask.. have a daughter in Edmonton.. might be up this weekend for Cycle Show..Interacted a bit with a guy from Ft. McMurray who also rides a VTR. Might be a bunch of us in the west...Hey.. maybe we could do a ride..Lot's of great riding south and west of us..I have stock pipes with a Bafflectomy, shimmed stock needles and stock air-filter..Following the various threads..airfilter/airbox key element..Leave the box stock. I had heard the Alberta was going to come down on loud pipes.. Scona Cycle staff said they would not be allowed to sell loud pipes soon.. Anything to that.. make impact your pipe choice..

Take Care
Dave

Chasenyadown, I have been to Edmonton for work at the Alberta University. Small world! I have a Morwaki full ti race system if your interested let me know and I will send pictures. Some one was but was talked out because they thought they might loose power. I had it on a stock bike with no problems. I had to made spacers to use the side stand. I was thinking on cams and pistons but decided not to go that way. Even so its a nice system. I can't tell you anything other than all I did was jeted the carbs.
