Got my Penske today :)

Just thought i would share my joy with everyone, wont be able to get it installed for another few days

I luv seeing that pic. Reminds of the good ol' days of my penske and ohlins. Stock right now but fixin' that..... again (sigh).

Anyway, I had a cbr954 penske and it looks exactly like that one except for the longer bottom mount. I used a longer top mount to get it to VTR specs. I always wondered what it looked like. I didn't like the very short hose.

Be real careful on the install, tight quarters, and easy to scratch it up. TIP: remove the entire bottom linkage. If you don't, that pristine shock will look like it's 10 years old by the time you wrangle it into position. :-(
