daytona steering stabilizer,help,pics needed

i got what i thought was a superhawk daytona stabilizer, got it missing the hardware.got the hardware kit and instructions from shindy, but i think i have the wrong body clamp.i was wondering if anyone had some pics of the stabilizer where the stabilizer body clamp comes close to the frame and how far the adj. rod sticks out.

It will stick out quite a bit with wheel turned to left... but it works.

Yes get the proper clamp, the fit is tight in between the fairing- it's critical to get the proper angle on the damper for no interference. Sucks you didn't get the right pieces in the first place. Good luck!

well, update,it will work without the proper body clamp at the radiator end,but had to grind the end of the clamp down some(not to much as this is where the screws are)and added a 1/4 or so spacer under the helm bearing to raise the dampner loction along with a $0.80 hex head longer bolt from the hardware store.its a tight fit, turning lock to lock at one point the body clamp is prob about 3 sheets of paper clearence.even if it rubbed the plastic at some point,it wouldnt be enought to worry about.the body clamp by itself is $58.00 plus shipping,i like my altrenitive much better.works great too.i bought the hardware kit from them that DIDNT include the body clamp, just the bracket that mounts on the frame, fork bracket, and 3 bolts and that cost me$60 plus shipping!
