I was wanting to know if anybody had heard of these and what do you think? They are something that I think would look sweet on the bike, but I just dont know if they are logical?

I've been looking at those too but I just got an amazing deal on another set of pipes...

I haven't seen any YouTube videos of them on a vtwin however there are some for 4bangers but I would imagine it sounds in-between a Harley w straight pipes and open headers...

But I do agree they would look sweet

I dont know about that model of exhaust, but I have the GP Extreme Exhaust and they have held up really well. No cracks or discoloration. The amount of or the lack there of baffeling I think they would be VERY loud.

I would not recommend these at all, not much of an exhaust to begin with... you may as well just ride with no muffler, you will get similar effect, mainly loss of power!!! And insane noise! but then again, it's just an opinion

I was just afraid of more ruining the engine itself more that worrying about the noise. I may just stick with the yoshi's then.

reviving an old thread! why would they decrease power??? There is no restriction whatsoever it seems.

These aren't Harleys... they have a certain amount of length and back pressure tuned into the airflow of the pipes. Taking that away doesn't necessarily "let the engine breath", it just fusses with the fluid dynamics. Even fully tuned Moriwaki bikes use a considerable amount of muffler...

That's a fine looking pair of VTRs, Erno.
