Clipons for USD conversion

Hello, I'm trying to collect the parts needed to install usd forks on my vtr. I only miss front wheel, axl, rc51 top yoke and the clipons.

I would like to know what kind or brand of clipons did you use with standard fairings το convert your bikes in order to start searching on ebay.

Thanks in advance!!

lots of options - you should search for some experiences. Give some more info on what you are looking for also - do you like the leaned over down-low feel? or want something more upright? I used convertibars for awhile and just recently took those off to replace with a simple modification to allow bar risers and a tubular style handlebar. But others have posted their experience. Just search for RC51 front end as a start

cliby... thanks for your reply.

I'm looking for low clipons, the bike will be used as a track day bike. May run in an endurance (after some engine modifications and a full exhaust) and probably a race (twins), so I'm looking forward using the lowest clipons that can fit using standard fairings. If I wont be happy I have found a set of full fairings from a German manufacturer that gives you space to use really low clipons. But I'm not into giving money for fairings (I like the look of it) unless I cannot do otherwise.

Thanks again

The lowest possible to mount is the helis for the 929/954 without mods to the fairing I think... Slightly below stock...
