I like 'em. But remember that when going to a high mount you're turn signals might be in the way, depending how you have them set up.

Also don't get surprised if the devil's take forever to get to you when you order them. Every dealer I've heard of has them drop shipped from the factory, it took me almost 7 weeks to get mine.

well i'm also planning on an undertail from them too. money is definety an object but i do have a little disposable income to throw at the hawk to nice it up. i just want that nice rumbling exhaust note the bike is famous for and the right pipes are crucial.

I just put a set of Jardine Black Hi Mounts on my Hawk last week. I have to say they sound amazing. I was looking for that growl too and these pipes did it for me. They let you keep the passengers pegs and they clear the turn signals just fine. IMO I think they sound amazing when you get on the gas.

I bought a set of nasty neglected Devils off ebay for cheap that I redid and sold. Before selling them though I did test fit them on my bike (had to hear them). You won't have any complaints with the sound. The midpipes are also massive, the biggest diameter I've ever seen. As I've said before I've never heard pipes that sounded bad on a superhawk.

two bro

I have a pair of low mount Two Bros on my hawk. They have the growl with a little more sound. When you get on it they really bark. It took some getting used to when I first got them but now I love the sound. Same sound as many but a little loader without the d+d scream.

i like my D&D's they growl low and seem quite compared to the kids with hollow stock cans on their I4's, and the harley crowed with their open exhausts.

An artillery shelling is quiet compared to an open-piped Harley!

If I'm not mistaken that undertail listed on there site is the mototeck. Don't buy anything directly from the devil webpage, you can get it way cheaper elsewhere. Try exoticsportbikes.com, they carry devil and mototeck stuff.

thanks for the heads-up on the pricing, drew. you are correct.

i went to my buddy's favorite shop here in town and they're putting on a new set of high mount jardine rt 1's and re-jetting it for $732. he said the passenger pegs were in the way so i had him remove them. i don't give rides anyway.

there was a street and a race version of these pipes and i had him order the race version cause they were cheaper. anybody know what the difference between the pipes are?

yeah, if its like every other manufacturer's race vs. street option, the race will be louder... possibly quite a bit louder (too loud?) I guess that's a matter of personal taste. I've done too loud on a couple of my other bikes and I find it quite fatiguing after a while.

SlowHAWK is an unknown quantity at this point
If you find the Jardines too loud... they make a small part (sound atinuator?) you can mount in the end to quite them down.... of course they charge like 40 per pipe... but gives you the option to quite them down should they be too loud for the neighborhood, and then uncork them on a track or somewhere that you can run it loud.

Not that it sounds like you care but that's not true the Jardines come with spacers that move the pass pegs out. That aside I keep them off my Leos too I think it looks better...

I've got a set of Jardines mounted with my passenger pegs with no problem. I have the street baffles, and they're loud enough to set off a car alarm if i blip the throttle. Actually, they're pretty loud period haha, I can't imagine how they'd be with the race baffles.
