Brake pad choices

I am currently running EBC HH pads. I'm thinking of trying out different ones.

What are you using? How do you like them?

They don't bite as hard as the EBC HH ones I have. They stop the bike, eventually, but I want something to stop me faster and harder for trackday fun.

I've no complaints with the EBC pads. Just trying to see what other people use and what they've experienced.

i tried a set of vesrah pads a few months back and they were terrible. really bitey at first but then nothing, you really had to give it a handful to get any more out of them. and they squealed. i changed them for ebc after a week and haven't looked back.

I tried galfer greens but prefer the better initial bite of the ebc HH.

EBC HH are my favorites, you might wanna try the carbon loraine pads, I heard those are awesome too.

Great! Thanks for the input so far.

Guess I've just been spoiled by recent test rides of my friends' RC and TLR.

Re: Brake pad choices

This is what you need instant improvement. 320mm rotors and better calipers. The front end don't hurt either.

You would think with all that money spent on a front end, you could afford a better camera!!

The whole fork swap thing is on the backburner for me for now. I'm saving up my pennies for a truck.

Now how am I supposed to own a good camera when you know I spent all the money on the front end? Sorry had to reduce it to send an email to a friend. It actually cost me less to do the whole swap then to buy the 320mm rotor set up for the vtr.

my gixxer calipers work just fine for me, add ebc pads and the breaking power is awesome, one finger action.

xxxrated - I imagine there's a delay for any brake pads in the wet. What have you tried before the EBC HH?

Azzkiker & Superhawk22 - SHOW OFFS. :P

i imagine most pads do but when you live in the UK its wet quite alot of the time so it would be nice to have a responsive pad in the wet. its not a long delay by any means but adelay non the less. these are the only brake pads ive tried apart from stock as i had HH pads on my last bike and loved them, dont get me wrong their awesome pads id just like a bit more initial bite in the wet. im running them in RC51 calipers with VFR400 discs
