Here is a clip of my hawk - directions:
1.) turn volume to full blast
2.) put ear next to speaker and imagine the volume in-person about twice that!

no, purchased new in 1998... pipes and jetted after the first service.
just getting better with my video camera and movie software... just put 'er back together after doing cct and jetting tweaks, now she's rich though.. need to go back and lean it out a touch. i will post some more stuff when i can get more riding in... its frickin cold now. I'll take some picks and post them too... just getting my technical skills pulled together to add some content to the forum...

Sounds great! I'll have to wait about 4 more months to hear my baby again
I have a question about the whine on deceleration. I assume that to be the cam chain. On some bikes it is much louder than others. On your bike it was quite noticeable. Could that be the CCT being a tad tight? You mentioned they were just installed.
On the other hand, perhaps I don't hear it so much on my bike as the OEM cct are still in place and maybe they are a bit loose.

maybe, finger tight... the speaker on my camera was picking up the engine noise more than the exhaust note. i will need to take another with my buddy blipping the throttle to get a better effect. although, it may "whine" a bit more now that you mention... i will be going in again anyway for tweaking mains and double checking cct, getting some backfiring off throttle where i used to get more of a nice gurgle. thanks for the heads up.

Even stock cans with bafflectomy sound sweet. I've had stock, staintunes and now 2Bros C/F. All rock in there own way...throaty, burbly loud. I sound like a wine critic!

you will be happy - I have done aftermarket upgrades to cars, trucks, and mc's... this was def the best upgrade I have done. I will get another video and post up after the weekend - closer to the pipes. Ovals. Cool.

sweet fellas! My aftermarket highmounts are still a good 5 months away Gotta save that money. What do you suppose the loudest aftermarket highmounts are? I love em loud and this thing roars even w the stock baffles out and drilled!

As far as loud highmounts I have a remus Genesis system that makes a pretty sweet noise. The few times I've ridden without earplugs I've regretted it.
