Really? I would of thought with 8.5:1 CR that it would love some boost.

A buddy of mine has his own fabrication shop doing custom turbo installs on everything from dirt bikes to C6 Z06's. He does some nice work. Recently he had some Buell guy come in and want some work done. I've always figured vtwins would be ideal for a turbo setup as relatively low revving/low comnpression ratio motors. Practicality, well that's a whole other topic though. A friend of mine had a turbo busa and that bike was worthless to ride. Couldn't keep the front down and it was stupid fast.

Turbos are nice though . My last car was a Neon SRT4 and it was a addictive little thing.

Here are some pics of the Buell he did as he was fabbing it up...

the main problem i hear is how the swingarm passes through the engine.
more than double the original power and flexing engine cases...boom.

No need to be rude.....

Sheesh my bad on the CR being off . I couldn't remember and was shooting off the top of my head thinking for sure it was the other.

Regardless, that's still low CR and would love boost.

However the flexing engine hawxter mentioned could be an issue. Wonder how its holding up so far for that guy on the turbo VTR. Is he on this forum of the firestorm forum?

well Moriwaki and others have gotten 150hp out of them, but that might be with a replacement crank as my understanding is that the stock one is only good for ~130 ish.
