The easiest way is to get a sharkskinz fairing which is what that one looks like.....

I'm actually planning on getting their lower fairing, but I'd rather not spend money when I could just do the work myself. Sucks being a poor college student with no money.

Big Shepp- I myself am a poor college student too, yet i have just repainted the hawk and did the work myself in shop so things can still be possible... sorry for thread jacking.

No, actually, the easiest way is to use some thick stripe to just go right over it.

I try to keep mine clean and clear. One night I was out riding. I was on a slight
turn and my headlights went out. I was barely able to see the road with the light
from my third eye. I came to a stop and checked my lights. A loose connection.
That third eye saved my butt.

Hey fellow blig a dings! I have found a kit that sells for $10.00 you must solder it up but
its very easy and tiny... I used red leds but you can subsitute any color you like.

I ordered and installed it in my light and just attached the battery box above the tach. gauge . I will try and get a pic to post as well.

I am drawing some plans up for this, I thought I was being original for once. What video cam are you using? did you have to trim any of the upper or behind it? Did you flush mount it or does it recess in there far enough?

I turned my whole VTR into a cafe racer and used the third eye wiring to light the red eyes in my skull head...Bwahahhahaha!
