I totally removed my rear fender via drimmel and removed the oem blinkers with LED sets [although I'm having an issue with blinkers at the moment, not sure why yet (it's like they need to warm up a bit before lighting up for first time each ride)]. I mounted my license plate under the seat [with some cheap hardware from a hardware store] and everyone says it looks really slick and racer like. IMO a real clean look. Those were first mods I did.
I also changed out my headlight bulb to a whiter bulb than that orangish OEM type bulb. Looks much better and current.
