Tape Graphics?? Anyone do any custom work
Anyone do anything with tapeworks.com or any other custom graphics on there bike? I was thinking about doing it to the black hawk....It is 7 years old, paint is not the best, and to do a paint job would run me like $600-$700.....These run $150-$300.....

You might try working with a local sign and decal shop.
I could not find what I wanted so I went to a shop here and put it together on their computer.
Mine was simple "HONDA 996" in a size and font like Ducatti's.
It was very cheap - $15.00 for both sides.
You can design what ever you want and the shop will hold the patterns incase you need them again later. The lettering I used is white over a silver-gray shadow. I looked into more extensive graphics and the pricing was still way cheaper than Tape works "cookie cutter" stuff.
Another plus was the quality of the materials. Their stuff is meant to be in the weather continuously.

Re: Tape Graphics?? Anyone do any custom work
That VFR was badass, nice job.....
I have a lady that cuts all of my vinyl letters for my signs, she might be able to cut a graphic for me....the material she uses is for outdoors, and last 10 years....sure it would last longer being in the garage....
Not a big deal to apply, as long as you use soap and water, keep it wet til your ready for it to stay in one place....the great thing is you can peal it off later if you need to without it messing anything up.....I think I will e-mail her and see what she can do....
