Some pics (pic heavy)
Alright guys, here are some pics of the latest state of my bike. I made the subframe, and powdercoated it of course, myself, and made the seat. I also fabbed up my exhaust, and mounted a new muffler and strap. I know this isn't for everyone, but I'm the one who has to ride it. The back is reflective because frankly I like the way it looks AND it tell people to get the **** off my *** when I ride at night. It's pretty damn visible... The seat isn't pretty but it's comfy as hell and form fitted to my *** in particular. Like I said it ain't for everyone but I dig it. Let me know what you ******** think. Oh and disregard the heat wrap that looks like a candy cane... I had to unravel it a bit to make it longer, and I'm not about to pay 50 bucks for two foot of wrap...

Looks good! Only thing about it that I'd do different is provide some means of bringing a chick along with.. But a guy's guy like you I guess doesn't need chicks lol
All kidding aside, I think this is an improvement from the already highly modded state you got it in.

I like it !!
Got to love that exhaust tape and I like the touch under the muffler bracket so it won't scratch.
I hope that the single rad will cool enough, but testing is the fun part...right

What are you using for guages and handlebars? Did you get custom length brake lines?

thanks guys! well it's a veypor computer, and just motorcross bars from the local motoparts store. I think they were around $14. And the lines are kevlar, and they were put on by the last owner, but he still had clipons so it's anyone's guess on the length. And yeah it's a bit loud. Here's a sound clip.

I think it's cool the same way I think the old BMW at my local home depot is cool-the guy covered the ENTIRE bike with flat black paint-EVERYTHING. I wouldn't do it myself and yeah it's ugly but I still smile whenever I see it.

I have already relocated the oil cooler to the same place you have, so no problems there.

hahaha, like a pug, so ugly it's cute. not that your bike is cute, well, you know what i mean!
it sounds better than i figured it would.
i respect your rear safety reflector but the tiny led brake light has me scratching my head, and laughing.
your seat looks comfy, and pretty good. i made a seat for my rc51 and i know what's involved there. nice work.

Thanks guys. I'm telling you, the LED brake light is VERY bright. I'll try to get some good pics of it from behind so you can see. Also, unfortunately I had one can when I got the bike, so I can't give a good comparison, also, I never had a temp guage, but it seems to run just fine with the single radiator, i have never had it overheat (i.e. steam, or boiling over or anything)
And yeah fozzy it's pretty ****** ugly, but do you wanna race? :P

It was inspiring in fact. I got the 'storm of moving the rear brake res (or just blow the rears completely) so as to route the exhaust up through there for an undertail exit.
A couple heat shields could make it look rad. Keep experimenting, as your skills improve - you will find new ways of making things work together.
Rock on!

The square tail and super long exhaust hanger (among other things) Don't work for me and I don't understand a giant reflector if a small single cheap led bulb just sitting there off center is your brake light. Turn signals/running lights for added safety, nah who needs those when you have a big reflective square. All rude belittling of a project I have no right to judge aside the thing sounds fabulous and the rad up front is nice assuming full functionality. If you like it screw everyone else and go riding... right after you put the vette to sleep

I'll have you know the light is both centered, and much, much more visible than a stock brake light. Also, if all you care about it safety, you don't belong on a motorcycle. Take the bus, it's got plenty of running lights AND turn signals for you.

HAHAHAHA that's awesome. I'd take it as a compliment. Maybe you should just slather everything in flat black-that should really **** a few people off
