Sharkskinz street lower vs. race lower
What is the difference between Sharkskinz 1 piece lower street and racing? Sharkskinz has the same picture for both parts. Anyone have picture of the two?
Street lower part: 1199
Racing lower part:1070

I got an email from Sharkskins today.
"They are the same except for the drain holes in the street lower. Race regulations require the lower to retain oil in case of a leak while riding on the track. If you're riding on the street you wouldn't want to retain rain water and the water when you wash the motorcycle."

Thanks for the answer. I was at their site the other day and I was wondering the same thing.
I was thinking I wanted race because I do trackdays and figured it would be there to catch oil. While a belly pan is not required for the trackdays I go to, it is recommened. Since I also ride on the street, I guess it would be a hassle to have to empty it out every time I washed the bike or it rained....
