paint scheme

so im trying to figure out what to paint the bike, at first i was thinking of a nice deepblue, and then something charcoal/grey/pewter came to mind, and then for a short period an outrageous orange of some kind, and now im toying tith a multicolor scheme, something racey of sorts. wondering what you guys have, ideas, pictures, thoughts, something to get my creativity going

my personal favorite - would need some tweaking to make it work on the SH without the full lower.

my SH is a cool blue colour that you dont see many of them in, in fact ive yet to see another although im sure there are some on here, really metallic too when the light is on it it sparkles like mad, was a dull day in the pic doesnt really show the true colour

i think it suits well

Chalkboard. http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=103 I actually saw a bike like this once. Very... Interesting.

Also consider truck bed liner.

i saw a car with that chalk board paint it was pretty cool.

forde, all i can say is that i feel bad for you guys having to run those massive rears to hold the huge rear plates over there

nice color but if i go with a blue itll be something a bit brighter i think.

standard rear mudguards are always huge lol, from what i see on here usa bikes come standard with that too!

itll be coming off and a small plate and tail tidy bracket are going on i just havent got to it yet even tho i have the bracket and small indicators and plate here lol!! when im done with it there wont be any visible plastic at all just a rear light with plate and indies tucked right up below it

that colour is brighter than it looks in that pic, was a dull day and cellphone pic, and the metallic effect is very noticeable in it! but yeah i get what you mean

what about white that could look good? white/black combo? dont think ive ever seen a green vtr. maybe a darkish metallic green?

Screw the paint scheme. What is with that screen name. I sure hope you,re a doctor and your last name is mengele. Or are you a total ahole? Or are you completely clueless about the history behind something that may sound cute to you? Or do you not care about offending anyone? Incredibly so to some people? I know lately anything seems to be "ok". But man, grow up. Get a book and figure out who you are choosing to memorialize with that.

Well your post count is only 4 so you havnt used it much. Bundy was an isolated psychotic not part of a genocide government policy. I would like to hear the coincidence behind your choice though.

Bundy would be inappropriate as well. It's really not hard to choose a screen name that doesn't offend. Go ahead, try. How about "Bob" or "Dr. Bob" or, well, you get the idea.

i buy the bike with the lower fairing mounted.
also the bike was painted in italy at my specifications (original color was yellow), and i know there is no other bike painted like this one- so is unique!

soon i want to start to make lower fairings like mine, at a rezonable price,
from fiberglass, so keep in touch

@others: i change the username, hope is ok now
Happy Hollydays!

even if its from romania if the price is reasonable it could still be cheaper to get one from him shipped than it would be from one of the guys on ebay or somewhere else. im waiting to get a good price on one so i can paint my bike. i decided i think its gonna stay yellow for this year, ill paint the new tail and undertail and wait till i find a lower that wont cost me a kidney and then ill get the whole bike done

how retarded do you have to be to pick on somebody's nickname on a motorcycle forum.

If my nickname was hitler, would that necessarily make me a **** or **** fan?

Since when do you people take nicknames so seriously and judge a person solely on his nickname?

Since we're on a HONDA/Superhawk forum we should focus on bike chat, not on what nickname somebody is using.

I'm sure that some of you who carry a more 'dignified' nickname here, on the internet, are far more ******** in real life than somebody who carries the nickname of 'hitler', 'mengele' & so on.

Try not to get offended by my post ( I know it's a hard not to)

This is a self regulating and fluid forum, I have seen things let slide here that 6 months later get jumped on.. That's what happens on an active forum. go with the flow.

The reason I didn't say anything was because I liked the idea that if he actually was a neonazi he might have been getting help from a Ethiopian Jew and not know it.. (that would be a Jew who is black African) That'd be funny!

So I don't get offended, but neither am I worried about people who are, there are valid concerns and if they care enough to deal with it, the forum (and moderators on here) will adjust and deal with it.
