OMG...Friend was right!!!
Ok so I go from my thread "Impressed" to now this thread. I was told that someone (maybe first owner) cut the upper fairing and wind shield> I said no way!!!!
Then got on here and looked at pic of folks bikes and sure enough its been cut. Nice cut, equal and smooth, I wouldnt have known if I wasnt told. I have wondered why the windshield was so small and that I had such a hard time getting tucked in behind it. Im only 6'.
Look at the pic and look at the distance from the mirror to the top of the windshield and upper fairing.

Lol, yeah, it looks like a cross between a naked SHawk and a plain old normal one. Like you said, the works seems to be good, enough that you didn't notice it. All it needs is a little finishing. And if you do get a smoked windshield, trim it to match. It'll make a good summer bike. Side panels pop up from time to time if you want to put it back to stock. Maybe you could get some red ones to make your bike a little faster.

UGH!!!!! Guess it stays as is. Have no choice. I have yellow plastics in a box in the garage but I dont have the sides. Just sub frame panels, front fender and front insert around headlight.......DAMN!!!

Gonna clean up the extra yellow plastics I do have and other stuff to maybe sell on the classifieds. Also gonna see how much some new/nice used yellow side panels and windshield will be.
