New undertail/light mod

Yesterday I tackled the long postponed undertail installation. I also installed a clear LED integrated signal/tail light. I know some people don’t like these and in retrospect I wish I had gone smoked instead of clear. I am happy about having signals as I had none before. The fit’n’finish isn’t too hot, partly because the tailsection is a junk yard job I bondo-ed up, but it’s better looking than a hacked off fender with the plate hanging from zip-ties! I did cut about five inches off the inner section of tail plastic, stopping right before the tool area but loosing the seat lock. You can see the small bud of the end of the seat release cable mounted to the left of the license plates. . I think it smoothes the lines significantly

which undertray did you use? one off of ebay? if so, could you shoot me the link?
I'm thinking about doing the same set up as you. but I will go with the smoked lens.
